From June 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023, the Faculty of Science and Technology implemented the project "SolidWorks online Intensive School " financed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange as part of the SPINAKER program – Intensive International Education Programs.
The main objective of the project was to increase the internationalisation of the University by developing an intensive international online education programme, dedicated to foreign students and doctoral students. The "SolidWorks Online Intensive School" course included elements promoting the Polish culture and science as well as specialist modules, the aim of which was to familiarize participants with SolidWorks software, dedicated to 3D engineering design. The three editions of the course were attended by 53 students and 4 doctoral students representing universities from the Czech Republic, Ukraine, Croatia and Kazakhstan. All participants were provided with the didactic and scientific offer of our University. Thus, the implementation of the project allowed to increase the recognition of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa in the international academic environment and increased the number of foreign students who started cooperation with JDU, especially as part of joint studies in the field of Innovative Technologies and Modern Materials.
