The University of Young Explorers is a social initiative of the academics of the Faculty of Science & Technology that promotes applied science to regional youth. The project, which was implemented only four years ago, offers regular free of charge sessions on dynamic presentations about space, chemistry or technology. It has quickly become very popular with young attendees, bringing the young participants and their parents together. This shared parent-child experience confirms that, in this unique context, knowledge can be broadened irrespective of age.
