Admission requirements


FOREIGNERS STUDYING IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE RULES APPLICABLE TO POLISH CITIZENS

The following are eligible to study at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, in compliance with the rules applicable to Polish citizens:

- foreigners who have been granted a residence permit in Poland

- foreigners who have been granted refugee status in Poland

- foreigners who have been granted temporary asylum in Poland

- foreigners who have been granted subsidiary protection in Poland

- migrant workers who are citizens of the EU or EFTA member countries, and their family members if they reside on the territory of Poland

- foreigners who have been granted a long-term EU-resident permit in Poland

- foreigners who have been granted a temporary residence permit issued due to circumstances set out in Article 53, section 1, subsection 7, 13 and 14 of the Act of June 13 2003 on Foreigners (Journal of Laws)

- residents of the EU or EFTA member states, and their family members if they have the right of permanent residence

- residents of the EU or EFTA member states and their family members who are able to cover subsistence costs during the period of study; however, they are not entitled to any form of support, such as: maintenance grant, special grant for disabled persons, meals grant, accommodation grant, or aid payment.

- holders of a valid Polish Card (Karta Polaka)


FOREIGNERS STUDYING IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE RULES APPLICABLE TO NON-POLISH CITIZENS

The following are eligible to study at Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa, in compliance with the rules applicable to non-Polish citizens:

- third countries citizens

- those with a valid Polish Card who resign from applying to the university in compliance with the rules applicable to Polish citizens (for instance as holders of scholarships awarded by the Government of the Republic of Poland)

- residents of the EU and EFTA member states who have decided to undertake studies in Poland in compliance with the rules applicable to non-EU citizens (for instance as holders of scholarships awarded by the Government of the Republic of Poland)


Foreigners are admitted on the basis of:

- international agreements, in compliance with the rules defined therein

- agreements concluded between higher education institutions and foreign entities, in compliance with the rules defined therein

- the decision of the minister for higher education

- the decision of the university rector


Foreigners can undertake studies in compliance with the rules applicable to non-Polish citizens:

- as holders of scholarships awarded by the Polish party

- on a full-fee-paying basis

- on a tuition-free basis and with no scholarship entitlement

- as holders of scholarships awarded by the sending party, and free of tuition fees

- as holders of scholarships awarded by the university
