The Academic Choir of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa won a silver diploma at the X International Festival of Christmas Carols and Pastorals in Rzeszów, which took place on January 28, 2023. Our Choir scored 84 points in the competition, in which 30 teams participated (from Poland and abroad), including teams representing universities. The JDU Choir performs under the direction of dr Marek Kudra.
The competition was organised by the Liturgical Music School in Rzeszów and the Polish Association of Choirs and Orchestras Rzeszów Branch. The competition is addressed to amateur choral ensembles, vocal and instrumental ensembles as well as orchestras and instrumental ensembles (children's, youth and adults, including students).
