"QUALITY OF LIFE IN INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH" 4TH WORLD SCIENTIFIC CONGRESS - summary

On October 25-27, 2023, in Kochcice near Częstochowa, the fourth edition of the Scientific Congress devoted to interdisciplinary aspects of the quality of life took place. The event brought together scientific representatives from as many as 14 countries, including Japan, the United States, Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Spain, Italy, South Korea, Malta, Algeria, Egypt and Poland, who represented a total of 32 research centres.

Prof. Janusz Kapuśniak had the honour to open the congress with an inaugural lecture on "Fibre and prebiotic substances from starch in foods and its implications for human nutrition," focusing on the importance of these ingredients for health and nutrition.

The congress has become a space for active exchange of views and intercultural cooperation, stimulating the development of new concepts and international research projects in the field of health sciences.

Thanks to the effective coordination of the Organising Committee, headed by Professor Jacek Wąsik, and the support of dr Dorota Ortenburger, dr Tomasz Góra and dr Dariusz Mosler, the efficient implementation of the congress schedule was ensured. We look forward to further scientific discussions resulting from this Forum and encourage everyone to participate in future events of the series.
