On November 18, Prof. Anna Wypych-Gawrońska - Rector of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa signed a cooperation agreement with Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk - Rector of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. The subject of the agreement is the development of scientific and research cooperation between the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice and Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa through common initiatives, among others, in the following fields: preparation of joint scientific as well as research and development projects of national and international scope, preparation of joint scientific publications, patent applications and patents, organisation of joint conferences and scientific seminars, presenting the results of common research at domestic and foreign scientific conferences, commercialisation of the obtained research results.
One of the initiators of the signing of the agreement was Professor Aleksander Sieroń. Prof. Sieroń is also an honorary doctor of the Silesian University of Technology. At JDU, he is the Chairman of the Council for the Discipline of Health Sciences. During the meeting, first steps were taken to implement a common idea of a scientific project in the field of medical sciences, health sciences and medical biotechnology.
