​JDU ESTABLISHES COOPERATION WITH ACADEMY OF SILESIA


The cooperation agreement has been concluded by the authorities of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa and the Academy of Silesia.

Prof. Anna Wypych-Gawrońska, Rector of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa: We have signed a cooperation agreement whose aim is experience exchange and far-reaching participation which will be conducted between our universities in the area of medical faculties. We hope that thanks to this agreement it will be possible to implement a number of new research and educational projects. Creating consortia is important today because the team has more opportunities to implement projects and raise funds for them.

The ceremonial signing of the agreement took place on July 10. It was attended by the representatives of the Academy of Silesia: Rector - prof. Aleksander Ostend and Founder-Chancellor - Arkadiusz Hołda, MA Eng. Arch., who also emphasised the great importance of cooperation with the University of Czestochowa for the Academy.

During the signing ceremony, Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa was represented by: prof. dr hab. n.med. dr. h.c. multi Aleksander Sieroń – Vice-Rector for Medical and Health Sciences, prof. Zygmunt Bąk – Vice-Rector for University Development and Dean of Wladyslaw Bieganski Collegium Medicum prof. dr hab. n. med., dr n. hum. Sławomir Letkiewicz.
