On October 30, the efforts of our University were crowned with success as the Council of the European University Association approved the application of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa to be admitted to the group of full members of the EUA (Individual Full Member). Thus, Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa has joined the honourable group of over 850 universities from nearly 48 countries of the world identifying themselves with the principles and ideas proclaimed by the European University Association in the field of supporting the development of universities and taking care of their interests by participating in the Bologna Process and influencing the European Union's policy in the field of higher education, research and innovation.
The EUA is the largest organisation representing universities in Europe. The EUA provides opportunities for member institutions to exchange information in the field of higher education and research and represents the education sector in social and political forums (e.g. European Commission, European Parliament). It also enables the sharing of best practices by participating in joint projects and multi-university events.
