At its 73rd session (9 March 2023) the Sejm of the Republic of Poland voted for a bill to change the Polish name of our University. According to the provisions contained in the document, after voting the bill by the Senate and obtaining the signature of the President of the Republic of Poland, the University will change its name on June 1, 2023. Thanks to this, it will join the group of about 20 most important universities in Poland.
It is worth reminding that the previous name change took place nearly 5 years ago, on June 1, 2018.
