For the first time, the PRIMUS IN UNIVERSITATE title has been granted by our University. This honourable title, designed to reward the highest achieving student in their studies and beyond, has been awarded to Alicja Ziental for her excellence in academic achievements of the 2018/2019 academic year and significant contributions to enhance student experience. The act of awarding the title to the Student by our Rector prof. dr hab. Anna Wypych-Gawrońska took place during the 49th opening ceremony of the 2019/2020 academic year.
Alicja Ziental, a graduate of European Cultural Studies in the years of 2015-2018, was awarded the Bachelor’s Degree with Distinction. At present, she’s studying towards a degree in Media, Communication & Culture (2nd cycle programme). She is the president of the International Student Association Psychology & Culture and the co-author of the publication: Eastern Martial Arts in cinematography and popularising a healthy lifestyle – interpretation sketch „International Scientific Journal Physical Activity Review” 2017.
