​MEETING OF REPRESENTATIVES OF EUI CONSORTIUM


On 9 April, the representatives of the 'Innovative European Regional Universities' (iERU)– a project consortium to prepare a proposal for the next edition of the EU European Universities Initiative programme – met online to discuss the team's objectives for the forthcoming period. Apart from our University, the meeting was attended by the representatives of current partner universities from:

- Universität Paderborn (Germany) – leader,

- Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha (Spain),

- Le Mans Université (France)

and representatives of new partner universities:

- Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek (Croatia),

- University of Ferrara (Italy).

Starting from May this year, team meetings will be held regularly, at least once a month. To begin with, presentations of individual universities are planned, which will focus on science, didactics, research and international cooperation, in order to develop priorities and plan actions for implementation within the project. At the same time, partner universities intend to work together in the framework of ongoing initiatives in the new Erasmus+ 2021-2027 programme, e.g. Blended Intensive Programmes, Erasmus Mundus Design Measures, CHANSE ("Collaboration of Humanities and Social Sciences in Europe").

3. professor Przemysław Sznurkowski - Dean of the Faculty of Humanities,

4. professor Małgorzata Kurek - Institute of Linguistics,

5. Olga Binczyk, PhD - Dean of Student Affairs of the Faculty of Humanities,

6. Bartłomiej Kowalik, MA - specialist for foreign relations, coordinator for the Erasmus+ programme
