JDU welcomes foreign students: become a scholarship holder in one of NAWA programmes!


The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) invites students from all over the world, including students of Polish descent to apply for a scholarship offered within the NAWA programmes 2020.

The Gen. Anders Programme – tuition-free 1st, 2nd and long-cycle studies (all fields of study except philology, with the exception of Polish philology); for holders of a valid Polish Card (Karta Polaka) or students who have documented Polish origin regardless of their country of origin and nationality (excluding students who also hold Polish citizenship); detailed information on the rules of application: HERE

The Ignacy Łukasiewicz Scholarship Programme - tuition-free 2nd cycle studies (Master's degree) in the fields of: engineering & technical sciences, agricultural sciences, exact & natural sciences; for students from: Angola, Ethiopia, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Colombia, Lebanon, Mexico, Myanmar, Nigeria, Palestine, Peru, the Republic of South Africa, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and Vietnam. The Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme - tuition-free 2nd cycle studies (Master's degree) in the fields of: engineering & technical sciences, agricultural sciences, exact & natural sciences; for students from: Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, as well as the following Western Balkan countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia and Serbia. The NAWA Director's scholarship is granted for the regulatory period of studies, i.e. the number of semesters as provided for in the terms and conditions of the studies concerned. The scholarship is: 1250 PLN (approx. 300 euros) per month for students of 1st cycle programmes and students of the first three years of long-cycle programmes, and 1500 PLN (about 350 euros) per month for students of the fourth, fifth and sixth years (if the sixth year is provided for in the study regulations) of the long-cycle studies (Master’s degree programme).

Applications must be submitted in Polish by 16 March 2020. Applications are accepted in the electronic system.
