​JDU research paper at 14th International SOSORT Meeting 2019 San Francisco


We are proud to announce the success of the team composed of Dr. Marek Kluszczynski, MD together with dr hab. prof UJD Jacek Wasik and dr Dorota Ortenburger from the Department of Biomechanics and Food Sciences (JDU) and two researchers from other scientific centres. Their new research on: Presence of Three Types of Scoliosis Formation in Relation to the ATR Angle and Cobb Angle Correlation as the Cause of Difficulty in Diagnosing its Early Stages has been highly evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment (SOSORT) and qualified for the 14th International SOSORT Meeting 2019 San Francisco, USA (April 25-27, 2019).

The conference will gather world-renowned scientists, researchers and clinicians offering invaluable science, knowledge and concepts on non-operative scoliosis and spinal deformities. On behalf of our team, the research will be presented by Dr. Marek Kluszczynski, MD during the panel session on Growth and Development in Scoliosis- Biomechanical, Physiological, and Psychological Intricacies.
