On 9 March 2023, an agreement on scientific and research cooperation was concluded in Krakow between the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow and Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa. The agreement was signed by the Rector of JDU, Prof. Anna Wypych-Gawrońska and the Head of the Institute, Prof. Tadeusz Lesiak. The main areas of cooperation concern issues related to the preparation and testing of parameters of new materials for ionizing radiation dosimetry and work on the construction and development of equipment for the analysis of optically stimulated luminescence in solids. The representatives of the units responsible for coordinating the cooperation are: Prof. Maciej Budzanowski (INP) and Prof. Arkadiusz Mandowski (JDU). The meeting was also attended by Prof. Bogdan Fornal (INP), Magdalena Zydek (INP), Prof. Paweł Olko (INP), Prof. Paweł Bilski (INP), and Prof. Michał Piasecki (JDU).
