Invitation to celebration of World Logic Day – 14 January


The academics of the Chair of Philosophy of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa together with the members of the Polish Philosophical Society – the Czestochowa branch are pleased to invite the whole JDU community to the celebration of the 2nd World Logic Day. It will take place on January 14 – on the day proclaimed by UNESCO as World Logic Day.

During the meeting, the following lectures will be delivered:
- Dr hab. Joanna Grygiel: „Z historii pojęcia niezależności” (on the concept of independence)
- Dr hab. Adam Olech: „W sprawie punktu wyjścia gramatyk kategorialnych” (on categorial grammar)
- Dr hab. Wiesław Wójcik: „Historia badań nad logiczną teorią prawdopodobieństwa” (on the logical theory of probability)
- Dr Ryszard Miszczyński: „Intuicja a formalizm w matematyce” (on intuition and formalism in mathematics)
- Dr Grzegorz Sitek: „Metalogiczne badania podstaw matematyki” (on metalogical research on the fundamentals of mathematics)
