The authorities of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University in Lutsk awarded the honorary degree to Professor Anna Wypych-Gawrońska – Rector of Jan Dlugosz University in Czestochowa.
Professor Halyna Myronchuk - Head of the Institute of Physics and Technology applied for an honourable title. The Senate of the Ukrainian University awarded the highest university award, appreciating "particularly high achievements in the development of Polish-Ukrainian relations and building a common vision of the future of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University". In a letter addressed to the Rector, the authorities of the University in Lutsk also appreciated Prof. Anna Wypych-Gawronska for her outstanding scientific achievements, experience, knowledge and organisational skills.
The ceremony of awarding the honorary doctorate will take place within the time limit agreed by the Rector and the University authorities.
